10 Yard Lowboy Dumpster
Our lowest-profile container, designed specifically for heavy materials like dirt, concrete, rock, and asphalt. Low sides make shoveling easy.
15 Yard Dumpster
Our most popular residential size. Perfect for single-room remodels, garage cleanouts, estate cleanouts, and spring cleaning projects.
20 Yard Dumpster
Built for small to medium remodels, spring cleaning, whole-home declutters, and commercial cleanouts. A great step up from the 15-yard.
40 Yard Dumpster
Maximum capacity for large construction, demolition, commercial buildouts, and multi-unit property cleanouts. Our biggest container.

Dumpster Dimensions & Specifications
Every Victory roll-off container is sized to fit a standard residential driveway while maximizing usable capacity. Here are the exact dimensions, capacities, and weight limits for each size we rent.
10 Yard Dumpster Dimensions
Exterior: approximately 16 ft long × 8 ft wide × 2 ft high (192 in × 96 in × 24 in). Volume: 10 cubic yards — roughly 5 pickup-truck loads. Weight limit: all tonnage included for inert materials (dirt, concrete, rock, asphalt). The 10-yard lowboy sits closer to the ground than any other size, which makes shoveling heavy material in by hand much easier. It's the right pick when weight, not volume, is the constraint.
15 Yard Dumpster Dimensions
Exterior: approximately 14 ft long × 8 ft wide × 4 ft high (168 in × 96 in × 48 in). Volume: 15 cubic yards — roughly 7–8 pickup-truck loads. Weight limit: 1 ton (2,000 lbs) included; additional tonnage billed at our standard per-ton rate. The 15-yard is our most-requested residential size — it handles a single-room remodel, a typical garage cleanout, or a small estate clearing without taking up an oversized footprint on the driveway.
20 Yard Dumpster Dimensions
Exterior: approximately 14 ft long × 8 ft wide × 6 ft high (168 in × 96 in × 72 in). Volume: 20 cubic yards — roughly 10–12 pickup-truck loads. Weight limit: 1 ton (2,000 lbs) included; overage billed per ton. Same footprint as our 15-yard, but with 2 extra feet of side wall for 33% more volume. It's the standard size for whole-home cleanouts, mid-size remodels, roofing tear-offs on a typical single-story home, and small commercial buildouts. If you searched for "20 yard dumpster dimensions" or "20 yd roll-off size," this is the spec sheet.
40 Yard Dumpster Dimensions
Exterior: approximately 20 ft long × 8 ft wide × 6 ft high (240 in × 96 in × 72 in). Volume: 40 cubic yards — roughly 20–24 pickup-truck loads. Weight limit: 3 tons (6,000 lbs) included. The 40-yard is the largest dumpster size we rent and the largest roll-off most haulers offer anywhere — it's built for new construction, full demolition, multi-unit cleanouts, and large commercial buildouts. The 4-foot longer footprint usually requires a clear, level area at least 60 feet long for safe drop-off and pickup.
What About 2, 6, 8, or 30 Yard Dumpsters?
Common questions we hear: "what are the dimensions of a 2 yard dumpster?", "how big is an 8 yard dumpster?", "do you have a 30 yard?" Here's the honest answer.
- • 2 yard dumpsters (~6 ft × 3 ft × 3 ft) are small front-load commercial bins emptied weekly by waste-management trucks at restaurants and small businesses — not roll-offs you rent for a project. For small project cleanouts, our 10-yard lowboy is the closest equivalent.
- • 6 yard and 8 yard dumpsters (~6 ft × 5 ft × 6 ft) are also front-load commercial bins — same use case as the 2-yard, just bigger. Again, not project containers. For a small remodel or cleanup, step up to our 15-yard roll-off — better access, lower per-cubic-yard cost.
- • 30 yard dumpsters (~22 ft × 8 ft × 6 ft) sit between our 20-yard and 40-yard. We've found most local projects either fit comfortably in a 20-yard or genuinely need the full 40-yard capacity, so we standardized on those two larger sizes to keep pricing simple. If you're on the fence, call (951) 386-2255 — most "I think I need a 30" projects come in under a 20-yard once we walk through the materials.
How to Choose the Right Dumpster Size
Step 1: Identify your project type. A garage cleanout requires less space than a full kitchen remodel. A roofing tear-off generates different waste than a landscaping overhaul.
Step 2: Estimate volume. Think about how many pickup truck loads of debris your project will generate. A 15-yard dumpster holds roughly 7–8 pickup truck loads. A 20-yard holds about 10–12.
Step 3: Consider material weight. Heavy materials like concrete, dirt, and roofing shingles add up fast. Our 15 and 20-yard containers include 1 ton each; the 40-yard includes 3 tons. For heavy inert materials, our 10-yard lowboy includes all tonnage.
Still not sure? Call (951) 386-2255 — we'll recommend the perfect size based on your specific situation.
